This young person has done more to influence humanity’s attitude toward climate change than anyone alive. In 2018 Greta Thunberg staged a one-person sit-in on the steps of the Parliament building in Stockholm where for three weeks she demanded that politicians take stronger action in dealing with Climate Change. After the election she returned to school for four days a week, and currently demonstrates only on Fridays
Greta was recently nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by the Norwegian government. The honor will be announced this October and award in December. Whether she wins or not, her actions have urged thousands of students around the globe to peacefully take to the streets. Honestly it is their generation that has the most to lose, so rightfully they should have much more to say about how things are proceeding.
Currently this young climate activist is setting sail on a solar powered boat to attend the U.N. climate Summit in New York City this September. When asked if she plans to meet with President Trump while she is in the U.S.A, Greta replied “Why should I waste time talking to him when he, of course, is not going to listen to me?” Her attitude regarding the recalcitrant figures of the world is one of dismissal. She would prefer to deal with those who watching , planning and working for a new and even better reality.
Greta was born on a Friday in the zodiac sign of Capricorn. This makes Venus her INNER ruler and Saturn her OUTER Ruler. Together her Venus and Saturn create a very determined individual. Instead of working to achieve riches or popularity, all her efforts are being directed toward saving the planet and pointing out our obvious human failings.
It is interesting to note that Friday is her Day Ray and likewise the day she choose to reveal her INNER sense of things. Greta used Saturn from her Capricorn Sun Sign to describe the OUTER conditions of which we all must deal, either cleans things up or to suffer.
How did a child like this come to be? Well, it is her gift, as it is with so many children. to see past the ignorant and selfish motivations of adults. Her Venus innocence and Saturn practicality are reminding us that we cannot continue destroying the balance of the planet and expect to live healthy lives. She is like the child who opened every one’s eyes to the fact that the Emperor had no clothes. Our Emperors are cowards.
Climate Change is no longer a theory. It’s a dangerous reality that we must survive if nothing is done to set things straight. The question is why can’t influential individuals put aside their differences and self interests for the greater good. We need clear individuals to take positions of power.
