Thank you, Meryl Streep!

The  73rd Golden Globes Awards ceremony was held last Sunday night. Sunday is a great day for acting honorably and receiving attention.  Appropriately the highlight of the evening, while totally unexpected, was viewed by millions. And hopefully it was given some attention.

Meryl Streep, was accepting her lifetime achievement award, when she changed the topic and addressed the exceptionally poor manners and total lack of sensitivity of the man who will soon sit in America’s oval office. She referred to the sad manner in which Donald Trump had ridiculed Serge Kovaleski, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist with physical disabilities.

“But there was one performance this year that stunned me. It sank its hooks in my heart. Not because it was good; there was nothing good about it. But it was effective and it did its job. It made its intended audience laugh, and show their teeth. It was that moment when the person asking to sit in the most respected seat in our country imitated a disabled reporter. Someone he outranked in privilege, power and the capacity to fight back.”

“It kind of broke my heart when I saw it, and I still can’t get it out of my head, because it wasn’t in a movie. It was real life. And this instinct to humiliate, when it’s modeled by someone in the public platform, by someone powerful, it filters down into everybody’s life, because it kinda gives permission for other people to do the same thing. Disrespect invites disrespect, violence incites violence. And when the powerful use their position to bully others we all lose.”

Donald Trump

Meryl Streep is the perfect person to deliver messages to Donald Trump. And not so long ago he thought the world of her. He described her acting ability as exceptional, but probably not any longer . The energies in Streep’s Dayology Signature have the capacity to exert the spiritual upper hand in the face of his deceit. Here’s how it works: Streep was born on a Wednesday and in the zodiac sign of Cancer. Her Cancer Sun Sign makes her OUTER SELF very impressionable. Her Wednesday Day Ray is ruled by Mercury which is very alert and aware. These energies contribute greatly to her skill as an actor.

Donald Trump was born on a Friday and in the zodiac sign of Gemini. His INNER ruler is Venus which makes him sensual and self-protective. His OUTER Ruler is Mercury giving him a love of social interaction and displaying his various forms of expertise. The connection between Streep an Trump is Mercury from her INNER Self to his OUTER Self. They both share an ability to communicate, but they use it for clearly different purposes. An INNER Mercury is exceptionally insightful while an OUTER Mercury talks to be heard.

UPDATE – Apparently the 73rd Golden Globes Awards ceremony was not the only time that Meryl Streep has pointed out the character flaws of Republican candidate, Donald Trump. Back in June Streep showed up at a Central Park dramatic event dressed as the NYC impresario himself. She performed a duet with Christine Baranski dress as his female opponent, Hilary Clinton.

“You’ll let me know why all the women say no!”
