John R. Lewis Speaks Out

Last Sunday John R. Lewis appeared as a guest on Meet The Press. During his interview Lewis told host Chuck Todd that he did not consider Donald Trump as a “legitimate” president. Lewis also announced that it was his intention to boycott Trump’s inauguration this Friday.

I don’t see this president-elect as a legitimate president,” Mr. Lewis declared. “I don’t plan to attend the Inauguration. I think there was a conspiracy on the part of the Russians, and others, that helped him get elected. That’s not right.” This opinion is shared by many but Lewis was the first to state it. The irony is that Donald Trump declared that Barack Obama was an illegitimate president based upon a “trumped-up” charge that he was not born in the United States.

Trump proceeded to attack the maker of the charges, rather than the charges. “Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results,” Mr. Trump said. “All talk, talk, talk – no action or results. Sad!”  In actuality the district that John Lewis represents is located in Atlanta, Georgia. It is filled with solid universities and corporate headquarters. This stereotypical view of predominantly black communities is insulting to say the least.

Who is this person standing up to Donald Trump? John Lewis was born in Troy, Alabama to humble share croppers. He was educated at American Baptist Theological Seminary and at Fisk University, both in Nashville, Tennessee. Lewis joined the civil rights movement, marching with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., experiencing police violence and being imprisoned. After he was elected to the office of U.S. House of Representatives he was re-elected 14 times.

John R. Lewis

John Lewis was born on Wednesday making Mercury his INNER ruler. Usually those who are spiritually looked after by Mercury are bright and verbal, however when they have a Pisces connection, they can easily be devalued and overlooked. The reason for this contradiction is that these folks may identify with the common man and their intelligence serves universal needs.

When astrological contradictions like this one occur, the solution is to take ANOTHER STEP and examine more closely the planetary placements on the day of birth. Jupiter, the planet of expansion and enjoyment, is the ruler of Pisces, so we consult an ephemeris to see the sign placement of this planet. This helps us to fine tune the subject’s personal energies.

It turns out that Jupiter as the OUTER RULER is placed in dynamic sign of Aries. This pushes him to stand up for what is right and to remind others to act on their values. What he thinks and says may not make sense to those who are excessively materially oriented. So here we have the rare individual who is clearly living out his life purpose through his Dayology signature.
