Why has Samantha Bee apologized for pointing out the uselessness of Ivanka Tramp in regard to important social issues? Maybe she is expecting too much!

It all started when Ivanka Trump posted a photo of herself and one of her children on Twitter.  Bee replied to  the tweet on Full Frontal,  her television show “You know, Ivanka, that’s a beautiful photo of you and your child, but let me just say, one mother to another.” Bee continued, “Do something about your dad’s immigration practices, you feckless cunt! He listens to you! Put on something tight and low-cut and tell your father to fucking stop it.”

Bee was referring to a new practice of the Trump administration to separate immigrant children from their families instead of following established legal policies. It is presumed that these harsh actions are meant to discourage families from requesting asylum or crossing illegally into the United States. Not only is this cruel practice ineffective in diminishing of border arrests, it is holding over a thousand innocent children inhumanely in detention centers.

So Samantha Bee had good intentions but she has gone overboard not only in her language but in laying too much blame on our president’s oldest daughter. Yes, comedians awaken us to the situations that are difficult for us to understand. When confronted with her use of offensive language, Bee answered “We spent the day wrestling with the repercussions of one bad word, when we all should have spent the day incensed that as a nation we are wrenching children from their parents and treating people legally seeking asylum as criminals.”

It is very interesting that as we were still reeling from the bashing that Roseanne Barr gave past presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett, Samantha Bee took shots at Ivanka Trump.
