She Gets Under His Skin

Why is President Trump so bothered by the opinions of Ann Coulter?

No other public figure disturbs Donald Trump as the right wing author Ann Coulter. The political relationship of these two is being ridiculed by talk show hosts, radio, television, day and night. Comedian, For example, Seth Meyers asked “Man, why is he so subservient to her?” Meyers was referring to Trumps’s latest attempt to downplay the government shut-down, which is now the longest in U.S. history and is direly affecting 800,000 governmental workers.

President Trump actually put the shutdown in effect to deal with the scorn of Ann Coulter and the conservatives. Coulter warned that Trump was politically dead if he didn’t proceed with building a wall along the U.S. Mexico border. Consequently he refused to sign a bill funding government operations because it did not include funds for his wall. Speaker of the house, Nancy Pelosi asserted there will be no wall and no talks as long as the government is closed. This standoff cannot go on for much longer; something has to give. But what?

As the author of  In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome! this modern day Cassandra stated “Either Trump never intended to build a wall and was scamming voters from the beginning or he hasn’t the first idea in how to get it done and no interest in finding out” states Coulter. “The country will be in very bad shade if Trump doesn’t arise from his torpor and keep his campaign promises. but if we get nothing from his presidency, at least the media will be totally discredited.” She predicts “His support will evaporate and Trump will very likely not finish his term and definitely not be elected to a second term.

This book was published in August 2016 while we were considering our choices for U.S. president.  Less than a year ago Coulter followed up with Resistance is Futile. How the Trump-Hating Left Lost its Collective Mind. She finishes up saying “Trump may be shallow, narcissistic, disloyal and the crudest kind of braggart, but he’s like chemotherapy for the country; it’s unpleasant to go through, you vomit, your hair falls out – but it kills cancer cells and you live. Trump’s presidency may be an unpleasant thing to go through, but everyone on The New York Times’ editorial board will die.  And who knows? Maybe Trump will keep his promises and end up on Mount Rushmore, his granite hair impervious to the breeze. As he likes to say, we’ll see.”

Now we can see how The Shadow is working. Donald Trump depends upon the acidity of commentators like Ann Coulter to undermine his critics and support his efforts to deconstruct democracy. At the same time he is scared to death that she may turn on him. He realizes that if he can’t deliver on their twisted agenda, he’s done. That’s how she get’s under his skin.

The Dayology Analysis

Ann Coulter
Donald Trump

These two individuals were both born on Friday and have Venus as their Day Ray. They share an INNER or spiritual connection should they ever want to use it. They were also born in the zodiac signs Sagittarius and Gemini. This gives them them opposite Sun Signs and different OUTER Rulers. Coulter is externally Jupiterian while Trump is Mercurial.

Those who are born on Friday are naturally pleasant and usually kind. However little of their tenderness will surface when their personal feelings are shut down. Rarely do they deliberately cause others to be harmed, but it can happen, Here we have perfect examples of two individuals whose closed hearts are creating perversity that is difficult to witness.

The dynamic of this relationship is explained by the nature of their opposing Sun Signs. Trump is a Gemini and Coulter is a Sagittarius. Their OUTER experiences, even when similar, are interpreted quite differently. On the whole Trump exists more in the moment and deals with particulars whereas Coulter’s comprehension of history and its implications is somewhat more comprehensive.

Trump and Coulter experience a strong attraction as they challenge one another’s viewpoints. Right now they are on the same side. The possibility exists that that one of them could go too far and threaten the other. “When people wrong you, go after those people, because it is a good feeling and because other people will see you doing it,” Trump brags. “I always get even.”
