The largest climate change demonstration took place yesterday. The bulk of the participants were under eighteen to the absolute astonishment of all.
While these youthful demonstrators were free to express their personal feelings about climate action through signs and chant, much of their activity was conducted under the direction the Fridays for Future organization. This Friday strike has a special significance to the youth of the world. Friday is also the day of the week that the Swedish sixteen year old activist, Greta Thunberg started skipping school in order to protest the lack of action taken to offset climate change in Sweden. Her persistence and her message has prompted worldwide protest.
“For 25 years, countless people have come to the U.N. climate conferences begging our world leaders to stop emissions, and clearly that has not worked as emissions are continuing to rise. So I will not beg the world leaders to care for our future. I will instead let them know change is coming whether they like it or not.”
“For way too long, the politicians and the people in power have gotten away with not doing anything at all to fight the climate crisis … but we will make sure that they will not get away with it any longer.”
“She’s like the icon of our generation,” many of her protesters are reported to have stated. Thunberg is incredibly composed for a person of her age or, frankly, of any age. When she speaks her words cut right to the quick. She is sharply focused at a time when most of our authorities are simply paralyzed. There’s never been anyone quite like her in human history. The closest example might be Jeanne d’Arc, but Greta isn’t going to end up publicly betrayed by the figures that cannot control her. She has the TRUTH TO POWER world press on her side.

An estimated 1.4 million young people in 123 countries skipped school Friday. March 15, 2019 to demand stronger climate policies. The strike was held in the kind and sympathetic sign of Pisces. The purpose for this event was to raise global consciousness. Through the use of heightened emotion and empathy an alarm was signaled. A second and huge demonstration took place on Friday, September 21, 2019 within the careful sign of Virgo. It was reported that students from 185 countries were involved. and 5,000 events were scheduled for the day. In astrology Virgo is thought to be the premier sign of selectivity, purification and organization,
