This week Fauci became the recipient of coordinated attacks from the president, his administration and the right wing media, This comes after Fauci’s warnings have turned out to be true. The old response is to kill the messenger, but that action does not eradicate or improve the situation. It is not within Fauci’s nature to back-down from telling the truth. . For this reason he is America’s Doctor and an individual with power that we can trust implicitly.
Last week Dr. Anthony Fauci, testified at a COVID-19 Conference. As our leading expert on pandemics he addressed the dire health situation in which we find ourselves. The doctor began his presentation by describing his how he views the nature of this infection:
“We’ve never seen a virus”
that affects people in such variable
ways, from being asymptomatic, to exhibiting mild to more lingering symptoms, to requiring hospitalization and possibly intubation, and to succumbing to the disease.”

has made it harder to suppress the

Then Fauci addressed the actual reasons for the disturbing rise in the number of cases here in the U,S. He views this complex situation very simply. Curbing the spread can only come about by people making changes in the manner that they relate to one another. This means that for a prescribed period everyone needs to reduce the dangerous and unhealthy aspects of their social behavior. This particular directive annoys a great many people and a number of political figures have even disregarded this behavior in their professional and private lives

In these televised appearances he reported on ups and downs of the infectious spread, Dr. Fauci received praise as a national hero for offering trustworthy information on the nature of the disease and the precautions that had to taken” This advice was disregarded by the President Trump, who set a poor example by refusing to wear a mask and generally tries to make the situation seem better than it is. About a month ago Trump disbanded the Task Force because much of the testimony was too confrontive to be comfortable.
Throughout the world we are fortunate to have clear thinkers and deeply committed beings offering their services, and even their lives, to prevent needless pain and suffering, But that is only one side of the equation and can only go so far, We also need everyone working to prevent the infection and loss of lives through tested procedures and firmly enforced directives. And that is the message of Dr. Anthony Fauci.
