Who Could be Worse?

This week Florida governor, Ron DeSantis flew two planes of migrants from the border of San Antonio, Texas to the Massachusetts island of Martha’s Vineyard. The chartered flight is viewed as a political stunt to entertain some of our more zenophobic American voters, but it may turn out to be a crime because the disoriented passengers were lured under false pretenses.

The 48 immigrants were from the repressive regime of Venezuelan and seeking legal asylum in the USA. They were directed by the DeSantis agents to go to the city of Boston where there were fewer immigrants and better services. Instead they were dumped in a remote vacation spot. Fortunately the residents of the Massachusetts community, although totally taken by surprise, helped to locate temporary shelter, food and legal aid for the weary travelers.

“We’re immigrants,” said Eliase, who identified Venezuela as his homeland. “We came here because of the situation in our country, for the economy, for work, for lots of things. I came here walking. We went through 10 different countries until we got to Texas. There a refugee association put us in a plane and told us there would be work and housing here.”

Three of the people who were “taken for a ride” are now suing DeSantis, but the Martha’s Vineyard incident is not the only time that America’s immigrants have been used to make a point. Last week Texas Governor, Greg Abbott, ordered two bus loads of immigrants to be dropped off at the Washington DC residence of Vice President, Kamala Harris. The group numbering over 100 were from Colombia, Cuba, Guyana, Nicaragua and Panama. “They were literally dumped like human garbage in front of the vice president’s house. That’s un-Christian un-Texan, un-American, and something that should not be allowed,” asserted Domingo Garcia, speaking for the League of United Latin American Citizens. He added that his organization was “advising these immigrants of their legal rights so they are not used as political pawns.”

These two immigrant “drops” are not isolated incidents. The Texas Tribune reports that three Republican governors, Ron DeSantis, Doug Duce and Greg Abbot, have transported at least 10,000 migrants to Washington, D.C., New York and Chicago in the last month. The destinations were chosen because they are “sanctuary cities” and run by Democratic mayors. Abbott’s migrant busing program costs Texas $12 million and another $12 million was allocated by the state of Florida to transport the DeSantis migrants out of the state. Duce’s buses from Arizona to Washington, D.C. are estimated to cost his state tax payers $80K per trip It is true that the Biden administration moves migrants awaiting immigration proceedings into urban areas throughout the country. They never leave people stranded and without resources to get started.

While migrations are to be expected all over the world due to increasing climate changes, many of our elected “public servants” are slow to realize that humans are humans regardless of where they are from or where they are going.

Ron DeSantis

Donald Trump was born on a Friday in the zodiac sign of Gemini. Venus rules his INNER SELF and Mercury governs his OUTER SELF. Individuals born with the #63 Dayology Signature are very smart along the lines of their close friends or favorite interests. They must be careful or they can get so strung out that they become unaware of things that should concern them.

Ron DeSantis was born on a Thursday in the zodiac sign of Virgo. Jupiter rules his INNER SELF and Mercury governs his OUTER SELF. Those born with the #54 Dayology Signature generally to be very efficient at discharging tasks and getting things done. The major problem of these folks is that sometimes what they say they will do, does not end up as what they actually did.

These two high-powered individuals are both considering a run for the U.S. presidency in 2024. For a while they wereseen supporting one another at MAGA Republican rallies. It is not so clear anymore where they stand. If Donald Trump is cleared of all the charges against him, he will challenge Ron DeSantis for the party nomination. If the ex-president is ever convicted he will need someone like DeSantis in the White House to pardon him. That is how he thinks.

It may seem that since these two politicians share the planet Mercury as an OUTER ruler, they would have more in common than they actually do. Yes, both men have a shrewd political minds but their worldly personalities are different. Trump’s Sun Sign -Gemini- is an air sign ruled by Mercury. It looks for the possibilities in absolutely everything but is full of bluster. The Sun Sign of DeSantis -Virgo- also ruled by Mercury but is an earth sign. It sees the value in everything and wants measurable results. It may die trying but it persists in its efforts.

Regarding Day Rays we understand that people with the Thursday and Friday have different purposes and ways of going about things. While it is a scary thought, those born on Thursday and Jupiter as their INNER Ruler have potentially a greater ability to scope our their territory and spread their influence than any other Day Ray. Jupiter as a ruler can come across as respectful and wise to followers even when obviously twisted. Venus as the ruler is more personal in forming allegiances and faces separations if disappointments are experienced.

This analysis looked at the migrant issue, but it is only a glimpse into how Donald Trump has instructed his followers how to use unsolved problems for political gain instead of resolving them. Trump’s playbook regarding cruel treatment of immigrants was employed by DiSantos and who knows what else he may try. As U.S. president we wonder who would be worse.
