George Santos was just sworn into to the U.S. House of Representative and already 60% of his constituents are calling for him to resign. Even some of his fellow Republican lawmakers in the capitol are expecting him to step down.
People everywhere are saying say that George isn’t the person that they thought he was. It has been discovered that Santos mispresented his higher education, employment history, charitable work, family history, and religious identity as he ran for office. Perhaps he thought that the people of New York state would never elect him as their representative as he actually is. Or maybe, Santos is just a chronic liar. Either way the situation is pretty serious business.
While it is not a crime to lie to voters, to be absolutely frank, dishonesty has given candidates access to places where they may not deserve to be. That is the general sentiment that many hold for Santos. He managed to be seated in the U.S. House: because he possessed the three essential requirements: at least 25 years old, a United States citizen for at least seven years and an inhabitant of the state he represents. Honesty and integrity doesn’t really factor in.
Last week a complaint regarding the misrepresentations of Santos was filed with the House Ethics Committee. It is the opinion of Forbes Magazine that it is unlikely this investigation will go anywhere, although The Justice Department, New York Attorney General and Nassau County prosecutors are probing as whether Santos violated any laws regarding his campaign finances. The responses of the Republican party are actually quite lame. Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) said “This is something that’s being handled internally … we’re going to have to sit down and talk to him about it.” House Speaker, Kevin McCarthy, put it on the record that Santos has “a long way to go to earn trust” and then gave his newbie two committee assignments
One wonders how such a disturbed and deceptive person could enter politics. Isn’t there a vetting process in place for political candidates? Obviously not! U.S. Reps Ritchie Torres and Dan Goldman, both representatives from New York State, announced on Sunday that they are introducing the “Stopping Another Non-Truthful Office Seeker” – or “SANTOS” – Act in the 118th Congress. This law, if enacted, would amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 and require any candidate for Congress to file information about their educational background, military service, and employment history. Then anyone who knowingly and willfully provided false information would be punished with a $100,000 fine, one year in prison, or both. It will be very interesting to see who votes against this bill and the reasons they give for their opposition.
Hank Sheinkopf is a political consultant who worked on campaigns on four continents, in nine foreign nations, and in 46 American states at every level. Sheinkopf says of Santos, “I can’t think of anyone who falsified their entire identity, from top to bottom, being elected to public office. This is very unique, even in New York, where anything is possible.“
“The final key to the way I promote is bravado. I play to people’s fantasies. People may not always think BIG themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That’s why a little hyperbole never hurts. People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthful hyperbole. It’s an innocent form of exaggeration — and a very effective form of promotion.” ~ “The Art of the Deal,” by Donald Trump, New York businessman, U.S. President, and bold faced liar.
Some time ago Quora asks its readers who was the biggest liar in U.S. political history? Without a doubt, even with the significant challenge of George Santos, the winner was Donald Trump, but both are clearly operating as psychopaths. .
#64 FRI CAN
#63 FRI GEM
George Santos was born on a Friday in the zodiac sign of Cancer. Venus is the ruler of his INNER SELF and the Moon governs his OUTER SELF. Those with the #64 FRI CAN Dayology Signature tend to be highy emotional even if they don’t see it or they try not to show it. These individuals put their hearts into whatever they do and are surprised when they are misunderstood.
Donald Trump was born on a Friday in the zodiac sign of Gemini. Venus is the ruler of his INNER SELF and Mercury governs his OUTER SELF. Individuals with the #63 FRI GEM use their skills to communicate all kinds of information. They see themselves as smart and versatile, armed with a good sense of humor and able to handle just about anything that comes along. No kidding!
The biggest mistake that George Santos made was following the political playbook of previous U.S. president, Donald Trump. Once the thrill of having large groups of people believe your lies is experienced, it can be difficult to continue on as our unvarnished selves. Santos may have the skill of lying down pat but he does not have the “backup system” of unlimited finances and teams of lawyers that can escort Trump though the courts with only minor if any actual convictions.
Back in 2021 Santos told Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, that he was inspired to run for Congress by Trump’s example. She should have been fair and leveled with him that he simply didn’t have the makings of a world class deceiver. No one could ever approach the 30,573 lies that The Washinton Post Fact Checker caught Trump telling during his four-year term. Actually on one day, while in office, he delivered 62 easily identified false claims, which would be a record if a competition were ever to be held for an attempt to mislead the group-mind of the world for one twenty-four hour period.
Now we must not think that because both of these disgraced figures are Friday’s children that everyone born on this day has problems with the truth. Actually some do and some don’t. It all depends upon their moral codes. What we do know is that Venus ruled individuals want badly to be liked. Young souls born on Friday embroider or embellish their personal realities because they feel insecure concerning who they are. Old souls appear to do better with the bare truth!
In determining who might be the worst liar, the answer lies in the Sun Signs of the two Dayology signatures. George Santos is a Cancer ruled by the Moon. He gets an emotional charge from every lie he tells. Donald Trump is a Gemini ruled by Mercury. He hopes to gain influence from each of his deceptions. Santos isn’t going anywhere but eventually jail because he isn’t taken seriously for his lies whereas Trump is a world figure and at the top of his game/ That could all change if he can escape detection, prosecution and conviction for his past lies, which is actually a real possibility!
What difference does the age of our soul make? Maybe more than you think!
