Politicians say a lot of things during a campaign. Some of these comments are bragging and others are known to be outright lies. As a rule it’s hard to believe anything that a political candidate promises, but it’s a good idea to give these messages some consideration before dismissing them. Sometimes they really do mean what they say.
One of ex-president Trump’s campaign pledges is particularly alarming. He assures the nation that he will only be a “dictator” for the first day after he is inaugurated for his second term as U.S. President. We cannot laugh off this pledge because by now we understand that Donald Trump “test drives” his plans to determine how they are being accepted by his voter base. Here are some thoughts on what Donald Trump would do on his first day back to work.
Last December VANITY FAIR MAGAZINE published Don’t Worry, I’ll Only Be a Dictator for One Day. Contributing Editor, Eric Lutz, detailed what to expect with Donald Trump’s second term. “They’d stock his administration with sycophants. They’d expand on the extreme anti-immigration agenda of his first for years. And they’d try to use the power of the federal government, and even the United States military, to “root out” the “vermin within the confines of our country.”
The APNEWS has confirmed Trumps Agenda as: 1. Dismantling the ‘Deep State’; 2. Instituting The A Huge Domestic Deportation Operation; 3. Initiating Tariffs of 10% on most foreign goods; 4. Establishing “only two genders as determined at birth; 5. Ramping up oil drilling on public lands, 6. giving tax breaks to oil, gas, and coal producers; 7. Terminating the Department of Education and replacing its authority to school boards. 8. Forcing the homeless off city streets into prison and mental institutions; and 9. using the National Guard to manage large urban demonstrations.
VANITY FAIR MAGAZINE published Don’t Worry, I’ll Only Be a Dictator for One Day describes exactly what can be expected if Donald Trump was put back into office. “They’d stock his administration with sycophants. They’d expand on the extreme anti-immigration agenda of his first for years. And they’d try to use the power of the federal government, and even the United States military, to “root out” the “vermin within the confines of our country.”
#63 FRI GEM 6/14/1946 Donald Trump |
Do we take Donald Trump at his word? If reelected would he be able to pull off a take-over of the government? Probably not all by himself, but there are plenty of short sighted opportunists that would join him if they had the chance. He also is assembling a voting block that will go along with whatever he is dreaming up for our future. Our best bet is not provide him the opportunity.
Individuals born with the #63 FRI GEM tend to be mentally flexible, highly verbal and potentially creative. For the most part they are not dangerous, although they can be quite outspoken. Trump’s two greatest gifts are his quick mind and a big mouth. He attempts to make the most of what he has and he has no trouble telling people what to do. It must be recognized that these two traits found in the character of many authoritarian figures, petty tyrants and dictators.
