This week the discovery of a Palestinian child with polio led to the United Nations to organize a campaign to vaccinate children in the Gaza Strip. Supposedly a two-day truce was to start on Sunday, September 1st with desperate hopes of preventing an epidemic.
“The vaccine campaign doesn’t address the core issue, which is the lack of hygiene, sanitation and clean water,” says Chessa Latifi, the deputy director of emergency preparedness and response at Project HOPE. “Because if we had those components – the clean water, the proper facilities for bathing and latrines – we wouldn’t have polio. But this infrastructure has been completely destroyed. … It’s a really really dangerous situation.”
WHAT WAS THE PLAN? According to Aljazeera about 2,700 health workers would vaccinate as many children under 10 as possible in two days. If all went well 640,000 children would receive the first of two doses of the oral vaccine. This service will be offered for free in three locations requiring significant travel for both the families and health care workers.
WHAT ABOUT THE TWO DAY TRUCE? Fighting was paused on Sunday, September 1st in “a few designed areas” to allow health centres to administer the doses. but there was never any general ceasefire on either side. The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated “Israel will allow only a humanitarian corridor through which the vaccinators will pass and demarcated areas will be established that will be safe for administering the vaccine for a few hours.”
HOW DID ALL THIS START? It was on October 7, 2023 that Hamas orchestrated a deadly attack on Israel which killed 1,200 people and abducted over 200 for which the existence of 100 is still uncertain. Since then more than 100, 000 Israelis have been internally displaced. Hamas claimed that its attack was in response to Israel’s continued settlement in Gaza and the West Bank.
THEN WHAT HAPPENED? Immediately Israeli forces began airstrikes and ground operations. Since the beginning of Israel’s invasion, the Gaza Health Ministry states that more than 40, 000 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed of which over 50% were women and children. It is reported that half of Gaza’s residences, and at least a third of its farmland has been destroyed as well as most of its infrastructure, hospitals, educational facilities and cultural landmarks.
WHAT IS KEEPING THE CONFLICT GOING? The Israeli government insists that the fighting will not end until Hamas is “fully defeated.” Even U.S. President Biden agrees that Hamas must be “eliminated entirely,” but he is also calling for a a “two-state solution, a policy that Benjamin Netanyahu rejects. Opposition leader Yair Lapid testified this week that the October 6th attack could have been prevented, the same position of Israeli military secretary Brig. Gen. Avi Gil.

These three individuals are leading voices regarding the role of Israel right now. They are clearly not in agreement as to the position of Israel in the Palestine conflict. This brief analysis reveals how Dayology assists in the understanding of the personalities and policies of world leaders.
Two of these Israeli politicians have Dayology Signatures with double rulerships, meaning that one planet rules both his INNER and OUTER Selves. Benjamin Netanyahu and Yair Lapid tend to have very focused personalities but in a different directions. Both were elected to the position of Israeli Prime Minister from opposing political parties. Those with doubled rulerships can be almost blind as to how they come across to others and often defensive, however once the problem is identified, they are able to face it and solve it. The Dayology Signature of Avi Gi is ruled by two different planets and is far more objective in fulfilling his governmental role.
Benjamin Netanyahu is the current prime minister of Israel. He has Venus ruling both sides of his nature, INNER and OUTER . One might think because Venus has the upper hand in his nature, that this Libra male would be a man of peace, but that is not so. Despite trying to “be all things to all people” during his two terms, he is gradually losing popularity. Questions are being asked as to his motivation. Maybe he wishes to avoid prosecution for “breach of trust, bribery and fraud.” Perhaps he is actually working toward the extinction of the nation state of Gaza.
Yair Lapid is the Leader of the Opposition in the Knesset, the Israeli parliament. Lapid served as Prime Minister between the two terms of Benjamin Netanyahu. They view one another as threats to their individual political existences. Mars operates in Lapid’s Dayology Signature in the same overwhelming manner as Benjamin Netanyahu’s Venus. As agreeable and supportive as Netanyahu acts, Lapid is enquiring and assertive. Right now Lapid is accusing Netanyahu of having been “bored and indifferent” concerning the “terrorist warnings” before the disaster.
Avil Gil currently holds the IDF office of military secretary to the Prime Minister Netanyahu. With his dual rulership of Mars and Saturn, he has the capacity to face his personal and professional challenges objectively. Gil is potentially aware of all developing situations and all the options that are available. While both Mars and Saturn are commonly involved with law enforcement, when they work together they create a sharp personal focus and a tendency to react quickly. Gil has testified that before the 10/7/2023 attack he warned of the “weakness” that existed.
