The Hush Money Trial of Donald Trump is dominating the news media and for good reason. It is very important that American citizens learn the truth concerning the possibly illegal actions of one of the two candidates running for the office of U.S. President this fall.
A recent article in The Hollywood Reporter humorously claims that Fox News Plays Knight in Shining Armor to a Beleaguered Trump-on-Trial. It reports how FOX reports all the discomforts that any ordinary US citizen on trial would experience plus the other problems that only Donald Trump could create. In contrast The Chicago Tribune doesn’t mince words. Fox News is Lying about the Trump Trial and asserts that FOX NEWS is characterizing this legal proceeding as a “historic mistake” and is purposely not covering the critical testimony of the witnesses who are revealing Trump’s open and hidden criminal intent to influence 2016 presidential election.
Another piece of excellent journalism states that FOX NEWS Lies for Fun and Profit. The Statehouse File of Franklin College believes that Fox cares more about it’s advertising income than than the actual truth. They point out that Fox’s business model relies upon on “gratifying conservative viewers who felt they didn’t have a home anywhere else on the television news landscape. That model proved to be successful and the returns lucrative, but the cost involved not telling that audience anything that might challenge its assumptions or prejudices.”
It can not be forgotten that it was only last year that FOX NEWS was caught in the highest priced lie perhaps ever told. FOX NEWS agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems nearly $800 million to avert a trial where a voting machine company’s lawsuit which would have exposed how the FOX network promoted lies about the 2020 presidential election. To be fair Chairman, Rupert Murdoch claims to have intended to send Donald Trump the message: “You lost, get over it.” And after he instructed his newsroom to accept the political loss with “dignity” It was Maria Bartiromo who repeated the lies told to her by Sidney Powell about rigged voting machines causing Biden’s win. That story is explained on the Propublica website. And it is is a “tangled web” indeed!
FOX Primetime Hosts
All day long FOX News repeats the same party line, but it is their Primetime Lineup that carries the weight and takes the flack. The current FOX NEWS primetime lineup was reorganized after the Dominion settlement. It was the decision of Lachlan Murdoch, the chief executive of Fox Corp, to fire their most popular evening host, Tucker Carlson. Jessie Watters was given Tucker’s spot and while he holds his own for an hour, he does not have the “Tucker” charisma. Greg Gutfield has the late night spot. His star is rising after working his way up the ladder from comedian to pundit to host. Sean Hannity has been with FOX from the very beginning and knows how to work the system. Despite his bluster he always takes very conservative stances. Laura Ingraham is quite another story. She is well educated and beautifully credentialed, but narrow in her overall view of life. She seems to have found her perfect fit at FOX NEWS.

Despite their past high ratings, they are in danger of being discovered for exactly who they are and how they support the MAGA MOVEMENT. Overall this is a rather unbalanced group. Half of the team operates as Saturday hard-hitters. The Sun and Mercury forces are expected in a popular newsroom, but there is no FRIDAY/Heart and THURSDAY/Generosity energy to sweeten the mix.
