A Sunday Woman

Erika Kirk was appointed CEO and Chair of the Board of Turning Point USA on Thursday, September 18, 2025, just eight days after the assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk.

The Turning Point board stated that Charlie had expressed his wish for Erika to take over in the event of his death, and the vote to appoint her was unanimous. Her leadership marks a new chapter for the organization – one shaped by grief, conviction, and unwavering purpose. Erika pledged to continue Charlie’s mission with renewed passion and resolve. There can be no doubt in anyone’s mind that Erika Kirk will be pouring her heart and soul into this new role.

“If you thought my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country, and this world. You have no idea the fire you’ve ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry.” She continued with a bright and shiny promise “The show will go on. We will have rotating hosts, rotating cast, rotating people coming on … Nothing is changing.” “We have decades’ worth of my husband’s voice. We have unused material from speeches that he’s had that no one has heard yet … because my husband was so intentional.”

And so another Sunday woman discovers her purpose. And if there ever were to be an archetypal figure depicting Erika Kirk’s currently motivations, it would be the Banshee. Not the shrieking ghost of folklore, but the modern embodiment of warning and reckoning—a brave woman who senses the tremors before the quake, who speaks not to terrify but to awaken. This new role for Erika, which appears to be her personal response to her husband’s portrayal of the Inquisitor who time and time again dared questioners to “prove him wrong.” Let’s hope that she doesn’t end up being a modern-day Cassandra – clearly seeing what’s coming, but not being believed.

And finally we explain the meaning of the term “Sunday Woman.” In Dayology we not only examine the activities that commonly take place on the seven days of the week, but we also study the nature of those individuals born on each of these days of the week. Over and over we are finding that women born on Sunday are just as strong as their male counterparts, but more inclined to suffer from fewer opportunities to express these qualities. This worldwide situation is becoming recognized and is will corrected in the future. For now Dayology Typology System will recognize Sunday Women as new sub-type along with “Monday Men” as well.

Erika Kirk was born on a Sunday in the zodiac sign of Scorpio. With Mars or Pluto as her OUTER ruler she is exceptionally private regarding some matters and yet quite intense regarding others. Being ruled inwardly by the all-powerful Sun, she is also much stronger than anyone expects, but she may not choose to reveal herself true nature right away. Consequently her impact on her surroundings may be underestimated until a close evaluation of her situation is taken.

As the new executive director of Turning Point she brings with her a diverse and proven set of abilities demonstrated across her past roles. She founded Everyday Heroes Like You, highlighting under-recognized charities, and hosted the faith-based podcast Midweek Rise Up. As Miss Arizona USA 2012, she demonstrated strong communication and advocacy skills. Her work reflects a dee[ commitment to values-driven leadership and strategic outreach.

Erika Kirk’s leadership marks a significant shift for Turning Point USA, and with it comes some uncertainty. Her communication style and public persona differ from Charlie Kirk’s, who built his strong following among young conservative men. If her approach doe not resonate with that core demographic, the organization risks losing momentum within high schools and on college campuses. This transition may challenge Turning Point’s foundational male identity.

One thing we know for certain is that Erika Kirk will do what pretty much what pleases her. As we have discovered from our research. whether admired or challenged, Sunday women leave their mark and sometimes their willfulness causes irreparable damage. Erika Kirk is now stepping into the national spotlight, and with a #08 SUN SCO Dayology Signature, she won’t be holding back.
