A fast and furious ride is exactly what many Americans are beginning to experience as they sense the radical changes that President Trump and his Project 2025 buddies have planned. Trump announced at his Inaugural Ceremony that “this” is the beginning of the Golden Age of America, but his supporters do not understand the motivations of the man they voted into office, or what these changes mean for them personally. It’s going to be shock and awe for all.
For instance on Inauguration Day Trump was so obsessed with getting even with his opponents that immediately after taking the presidential oath in the Rotunda he made the grand effort to sign 26 executive orders, 12 memorandums and 4 proclamations at a Capitol One Arena Victory Rally. He finished up this tacky get-together by throwing the “official” black Sharpie pens which were used in this informal ceremony out into the crowds as souvenirs. The very least of the changes afoot is the careless disregard of traditions upon which our nation functions.
Then there is the matter of the law. Regarding the Trump directives The National Immigration Law Center has announced that several of the Day 1 Executive Actions defy the Constitution. “The incoming Trump administration has, shockingly, attempted to unilaterally change the Constitution by depriving babies of their constitutionally guaranteed citizenship while announcing emergency declarations intended to provide the military with the authority to facilitate mass deportations.” Repealing BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP and USING THE MILITARY FOR DEPORTATION PURPOSES are two practices that MUST be examined before they are implemented. We must also take Trump’s PARDONING OF THE 1500 JANUARY 6th RIOTERS into consideration. Some view this act as a move towards national reconciliation while others say that the violence involved is too serious to overlook. Trump’s attempt to “white wash” this nasty chapter of US history has become totally reprehensible to many US citizens.
