Trump and “Pocahontas”

Today President Trump used an official award ceremony as a opportunity to demean Senator Elizabeth Warren. But why? It was at the honoring of three Navajo code talkers that our president deliberately went off-topic and continued on a nasty rant. “I just want to thank you because you are very, very special people. You were here long before any of us were here,” Trump added, “Although, we have a representative in Congress who has been here a long time … longer than you — they call her Pocahontas!” He then turned to one of the guests and put his hand on the man’s shoulder and said: “But you know what, I like you. You are special people.”

Fortunately the guests of honor were gracious and polite. There is no way of knowing how these American war heroes took this remark, but Senator Elizabeth Warren, the primary subject of this insult, was not shy about sharing her thoughts. “It is deeply unfortunate that the President of the United States cannot even make it through a ceremony honoring these heroes without having to throw out a racial slur. Donald Trump does this over and over thinking somehow he is going to shut me up with it. It hasn’t worked out in the past, it isn’t going to work out in the future,”

Listen to the Ceremony

This is not the first time Donald Trump has referred to Elizabeth Warren as Pocahontas. It was during the 2016 U,S< Presidential Campaign that he made up demeaning names for his all opponents.  In Warren’s case, she was said to be a deceiver and exploiter because she claimed that she had some Native American blood. Her defense was to cite family stories she had been told as a child. Genealogists state she could be 1/32 Native American, but it has not yet been confirmed. The truth of these claims is not the issue of this post. With this rare ceremony we have the opportunity to examine the overt animosity between two public figures.

The Dayology Analysis

#63 FRI GEM
6/14/1946
Donald Trump

#40 WED CAN
6/22/1949
Elizabeth Warren

Donald Trump was born on a Friday in the sign Gemini. The #63 signature makes Venus the ruler of his INNER self and Mercury ruler of the OUTER Self. Being rather thin skinned, we might think he could be more sensitive to the issues of others. There are people with this #63 signature who show great empathy for others, but this appears not to be the case with Trump.

Elizabeth Warren was born on a Wednesday in the sign of Cancer. The #40 Signature gives her Mercury as her INNER ruler and the Moon ruler of her OUTER  Self. Her efforts to solve problems and heal society only show her external personality. She is inwardly a deep thinker and planner. She has the capacity to draw down Spirit but she is still human like the rest of us!

Trump and Warren share a Mercury rulership from her INNER SELF to his OUTER SELF. This particular configuration indicates that she has the capacity to inform or guide him. But her gift must be openly received for this valuable aspect to operate. Due to the hatred that Trump holds toward Warren, any information or insights she may have to offer him is rejected.

UPDATE – Over 200 Cherokee citizens called on Elizabeth Warren to publicly retract her family story of as a way to dissuade others from making similarly inappropriate claims. It does not matter that she has DNA indicating a distant connection. Being Native American is more than a matter of ancestry. It’s an ethnic identification within a tribe. Warren offered a public apology for the harm she had caused and she is has pledged to be an avid advocate for Indian Rights. It appears that Elizabeth Warren is using her signature energies for others as well as for herself.
