What We Don’t Know

On January 6th, 2021 we heard President Donald Trump directing the crowds toward the Capitol. We also heard him say that he would be walking right along with them. And then he spent the remainder of the day watching “the riot” on the television in the White House.

It wasn’t clear as to what changed Trump’s mind until we heard the June 28, 2022 testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson at the January 6th hearings. We learned how little we really know about that cold winter Tuesday in Washington D.C. It was Trump’s personal security detail that (knowingly or unknowingly) prevented him from proceeding with his plans for the day. Hutchinson stated that Rudy Giuliani, one of the president’s lawyers, told her that morning ‘We’re going to the Capitol, it’s going to be great. The president’s going to be there; he’s going to look powerful.” He added “Talk to the chief about it. He knows about it.” referring to Mark Meadows, her boss. We don’t actually know what Trump, Giuliani, Meadows and others had planned for that day.

Compliments of Cassidy Hutchinson we do know that on January 6th Trump wanted the Secret Service to remove the magnetometers at the security gates and admit people with weapons. This would have improved the appearance of a larger gathering for his Save America Speech. Firearms, dangerous weapons, and incendiary devices are absolutely prohibited on U.S. Capitol Grounds. Trump’s remark to the secret service “they’re not here to hurt me” confirms that he viewed the gathering of supporters as his own personal army.

From other witnesses we have learned that Trump knew from an earlier phone call that Vice President Pence refused to deviate from his official duties, yet to raise the tension Trump told the crowds that maybe Pence would disappoint them. With a Tweet at 2:24 pm Trump directed the collective rage toward the Vice President, “Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution.”  We know that the echo of the “Hang Mike Pence” chant throughout the capitol halls forced Pence to be evacuated.

News accounts tell us that people were wounded and killed on January 6th. At least 874 people have been charged in the January Insurrection so far. It is drastically unfair that the “foot soldiers” are being sentenced and “the instigators” remain unidentified in the shadows. Everyone who assisted in the planning and execution of the January 6th conspiracy must pay the price of betraying their allegiance to our democracy and it’s laws. They could be seen as traitors.

Hutchinson

UPDATE – Originally this feature was written while 3/41996 was thought to be Cassidy Hutchinson’s birthdate. Since then the date of 12/12/1996 appeared in WIKIPEDIA requiring a big change in her signature and now everything feels just feels right.

MSNBC Host, Nicole Wallace, who served on the George W. Bush White House staff, has explained that while Cassidy Hutchinson’s position as an aide to the President’s Chief of Staff sounds terribly impressive to the world, it was relatively low on the West Wing administrative ladder. Still everything related to the Oval Office passed over her desk. LISTEN to what Nicole Wallace and her shocked guests said about the authenticity of Hutchinson’s character.

Our physical appearances often reflect our astrological energies. Physically Cassidy is tall and sturdy but slender. In high school she trained as a track and field athlete. Her face is a bit long but well- proportioned like a Jupiter individual. Likewise her clothing at the hearing was appropriate but a bit casual, something like a doubly Jupiter ruled individual would choose.

This photo of Hutchison in her early years is out-going and positive. It is though her natural enthusiasm that she attracted the assistance and recognition of others. She is proud to be the first in her family to have pursued higher education and is grateful for the opportunities that came her way. During her university summers Cassidy was chosen as an intern for Senator Ted Cruz and then House Majority Whip Steve Scalise. With a degree in Political Science, the doors to the White House opened to her.

Yes, Cassidy Hutchinson is rather young to have held such a responsible position and to have done so well for herself. All throughout her life it seems as if her professional attitude and growing political expertise was recognized as beyond many her age. As a university senior she stated “I have set a personal goal to pursue a path of civic significance.” And at 25 she shared in everything she knows about the White House players and the play book of January 6th.
